On Saturday, October 7th, 12:00 PM, Thalatta.art gallery invites you to a dialogue with the artists of the exhibition, "Running on, empty"
Kleoniki Maragkou, Lena Morfogeni, Panagiotis Nezis, Sofia Papadopoulou and Katerina Rimpatsiou.
The exhibition, curated by art historian Eleni Gatsa of Imagine Visual Arts, focuses on themes that highlight the problematic and complexity of contemporary societies, on key issues such as Africa, Democracy, Climate and Cities, individual challenges that, taken as a whole, provoke absolute terror. The concepts surrounding the term Running on, empty are used to represent a situation where inspiration, dynamism and mental attitude are facing exhaustion, with people already feeling destitute of resources. All that remains is the will - the will to react and carve out our own exploratory destiny. Thalatta.art gallery represents a new generation of art space in Athens, which aims to promote the works of both established Greek artists and young artists inspired by contemporary urban reality.
