Gucci has unveiled a multi-layered art project in Seoul, which has been curated by Myriam Ben Salah. Dubbed No Space, Just A Place. Eterotopia, the exhibition features the works of 10 independent art spaces at the Daelim Museum spread across its three floors. According to a press release, the Italian fashion house’s exhibition aims to “give visibility to these radical venues and to explore their ‘alternativeness’ as a conceptual tool through which to think about autonomy, defy authority and foresee new narratives for the future.” Audio Visual Pavilion, Boan1942, d/p, Hapjungjigu, OF, Post Territory Ujeongguk, space illi, Space One, Tastehouse and White Noise are each showcasing a project that has been designed by their own teams, including the work of one or several artists that the art houses represent or support.
