“Stories Untold" is a distinctive collection of Syrian art pieces created in Syria, by artists who have become witnesses of war atrocities in their homeland. The darkness of combat and hardships is not, however, what these paitings use – instead, they speak of the daily beauty, resilience, and strength of love and light of Syria’s people. “Stories Untold” is a brainchild of Manas Art Platform and supported by great friends in Greece, Syria and London. Its success in Athens led to this new venture in Thessaloniki at the Olympic Museum. It was also a star presentation in the World Cultural Heritage Youth Symposium in ancient Olympia This initiative offers an open invitation for a comprehensive insight into Syrian stories, people transcending loss, pain and fear to creatively celebrate strength, hope, life and love. Presented under the auspices of the Hellenic National Commission of UNESCO, and in collaboration with Thessaloniki Olympic Museum and الف نون Alef Nooon Gallery Damascus.The exhibition will be hosted at the Thessaloniki Olympic Museum, (Agiou Dimitriou and tritis septemvriou streets, 54636 Thessaloníki).
