Eleftheria Tseliou gallery is happy to start the new season with the show ‘Conditions of Production’. The show opens on Thursday, October 12 and will be on display till the 11th of November 2017. The show ‘Conditions of Production’ explores the place of materials in contemporary art. The idea for this show belongs to gallery artist Ilias Koen and to Stella Baraklianou (Greece/UK), who together with Tina Tahir (Germany/USA), John Player (Canada) Claudia Piepenbrock (Germany), Lorna Bauer (Canada) and Nadia Myre (Canada) met and developed a dialogue around materiality, materials and their qualities, during their stay at Banff Center For Arts And Creativity in Canada, where they participated in the Residency Program ‘New Materiality’. Following this dialogue that took place at the Banff Center, Koen and Baraklianou invited the artists who now participate in this show, to present all together their work for the first time in Greece.
