Wednesday, June 15, 2016 - Myrό Antiques House announces today the exhibition with the newest series of paintings of Fotini Hamidieli in Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki Hotel. Myrό Antiques House is the selected Art partner of the renowned Hotel in Northern Greece. The show will take place June 20 – July 18, 2016, in Olympus Club &Spa, and the admission is free. Fotini Hamidieli works are dinstinct for its style and theme. Family values, human relations and friendship are the focuses of her anthropocentric paintings, while the vivid colours, characteristic expressionism and compositional structure make them uniquely recognizable. The painter is showing her works since 1980 and she is literally adored in areas of Greece. The newest series of works of distinguished textures and the use of mixed media with inserts - reference points in time and the conceptual content.

Fotini Chamidieli was born in Veria in 1957. She studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of Rhode Island, USA. She continued her studies in Rome in a department of of Rhode Island School of Design abroad (1978-1979). She has been a partner of the historical Art Gallery “Diagonios” (1981-1995). Now she lives and works on Veria, Greece, where additionally she works as a teacher in secondary education. She is a member of the Union of Artists of Northern Greece. She has been showing her artworks in exhibitions since 1978 and she has participated in about 70 group exhibitions in Greece, Italy and the US.
