Rare Soviet Realism collection on sale & auction in the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art

The post war history of the Balcans and the Soviet Union is reflected  through the objects, artworks, newspapers, magazines, miniatures, and microsculptures which belong to the Vassilios Konstandinos collection, currently on sale the Myro Antiques House, a greek auctioneer managing the collection on behalf of Mr. Konstandinou. In addition, selected items will be auctioned during the vernissage of a special exhibition accomodated and organized in the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki, Greece, scheduled on Wednesday the 11th, 2014 at 19.30. The auction is open and anyone who wishes to participare will be able to register through the Registration Office available in the venue till half an hour before the formal auction time.

The collection consists of dozens of items of significant historical value and rare antiques and will be exhibited in whole from 10 to 15 June, curated by Art Historian and Curator MMCA Ms Thouli Misirloglou.
