Κamen Tanev's sculpture "GENESIS" has been selected as the Bronze Winner of the 2nd Lih -Pao International Sculpture Biennial Awards 2013-2014, Taiwan. Kamen Tanev, a bulgarian national, is one of the most prominent scultors who associate with the Greek Marble Initiative. He was born, lives and works in Bulgaria, but since the summer 2013 symposium of the Initiative spends much time in the premises of Myrό Antiques House, in Souroti, Thessaloniki, where numerous monumental sculptrures of him can be found. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Sofia, which he graduated in 1998 with a diploma in sculpting, and completed his studies with a Master in Sculpture at the same university. He has been a lecturer at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Sofia for two years since 2005. He has participated in various symposiums of sculpture worldwide and honoured with awards. His works has been exhibited and numerous group exhibitions in Bulgaria, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Italy, India, Thailand and Guatemala, and two solo exhibitions in Bulgaria. Monumental sculptures (more than 30) are located in Bulgaria, Greece (in Didimotiho, Keramoti, and Souroti), in Russia, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Egypt, Turkey, etc
